Phoebe & Paul's Engagement

“Working with Theresa on our engagement ring + wedding bands was a dream!  She’s attentive and professional, but also brilliant and creative.  Dialoguing with her about ideas and concepts was so easy and comfortable, and there was no idea too “weird” or “unconventional” that she couldn’t find a way to incorporate it into her elegant design sensibilities.  Additionally, she went above and beyond to track down an uncommon stone for us to truly give our ring a bespoke feel that truly reminds us that our rings have been crafted with love, by someone who we’re so fortunate to call our friend.” Phoebe & Paul

When Phoebe and Paul were first getting to know each other, they painted a piano together. It was one of the 41 “Play Me, I’m Your’s” pianos installed throughout Toronto as part of the three-year countdown to the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games the city hosted. They called their piano “Song of the Sea.” The song’s a hit, for sure: three years later, Paul proposed after watching rhythmic gymnastics at the Pan Am Games.

The ring’s design reflects their personal creativity. Paul’s creative, so he wanted to give me the freedom to design the ring however I saw fit. He had some particulars: a design with knots and a rare gemstone. We considered many options before deciding on an Australian raw diamond.

Here’s to a lifetime of songs and dances!
